21 of the Most Amazing Dessert Places to Try in Bangkok

Twenty one awesome dessert places to visit while in Bangkok seems like a lot. But there is so much to try and do, that we had to list them all! The best desserts in Bangkok range from gigantic ice cream sundaes to delicious hidden pancake shops and fresh coconut ice cream. In the city described by some as rejuvenating, others as magical, there are sweet spots to please everyone. After wandering through Bangkok and after many taste-tests, we’ve put together the ultimate dessert guide for this bustling city. While there are many delicious treats to try on the street (and I definitely encourage you to try the street food!), these are the top 21 dessert cafes and shops to stop by when visiting.

1. C.O.D.E (Cafe of Dessert Enthusiasts) - Great Croissants

C.O.D.E, short for Cafe of Dessert Enthusiasts, has a dessert menu filled with unique options including fruity shaved ice, sweet breads and flavorful shakes. However, they are best known for their croissants that come fresh from the oven and are filled with Thai flavor. Their most famous croissant is called the Thai Tea Lava Croissant. According to Daniel’s Food Diary, when he cut through the croissant after waiting for 20 minutes, it was “actually crisp! And the lava oozed, and oozed, and oozed, and oozed.” The croissant, bread and ice cream desserts are definitely worth the wait.

Inspired by Japanese Cafes, Mo & Moshi pride themselves on being a casual place to hang out and relax while eating delicious ice cream. Their menu has a ton of different frozen yogurt, soft serve, and ice cream flavors, combos, toppings and cones. However, the best thing about this place is they offer a 'cup' of ice cream bigger than your head! Take your friends here to see if you can finish one of their giant desserts. Or, if you're traveling solo, check out their ice cream hamburgers, based on the traditional Thai manner of putting ice cream on bread. They offer soft buns made with beetroot, green tea and sweet potato making them bright colors.
