The Boulderado Hotel is a historic landmark hotel in the heart of scenic, beautiful Boulder, Colorado. Whether you’re traveling for business, planning a romantic get away or escaping for a few days into the gorgeous outdoors of Colorado, the Boudlerado is a great place to stay. They customize packages for all types of travelers. Decorated in traditional Victorian style and located right on the Pearl Street mall, this is the best hotel to stay in when visiting Boulder.
Rooms & Packages:
The rooms at the Boulderado are nicely furnished and very comfortable. They have a fitness center, Wi-Fi, and a free newspaper each morning! The historic hotel also offers packages depending on your trip and the time of year. For example, they have an incredible deal for after the fun race, the ‘Bolder Boulder’ that offers 40% off of Monday night after the race. They offer ski packages and also a fun way to travel with your pet! Their dog-friendly package offers a nice room in the pet friendly North Wing of the hotel.
What to do in Boulder?
The Boulderado is located right on the pearl street mall which is a perfect place to shop, eat and people watch. The outdoor mall has stores like Peppercorn, Northface, Urban Outfitters along with specialty shops. They also have cute restaurants and sweet spots like T & Cakes.
My favorite thing to do in Bulder is explore Chitaqua or hike Sanitas. You can make your way easily from the hotel to one of these scenic areas in the flatirons to enjoy lunch or get a good workout in.
A few other fun things to do in Boulder are explore the University of Colorado’s campus and head to a concert or sporting event, or head to the Boulder Dushanbe Tea House. You can also see a concert, dance or other entertainment at the historic Boulder Theater.
Eat & Drink
Boulder has a large foodie culture and incredible restaurants located throughout the city. Including Pizzeria Locale and it’s sister restaurant Frasca. However, the Boulderado has three in-house options as well that are top notch. Spruce Farm & Fish partners with sustainable oyster farms and flies in fresh fish daily. They serve breakfast during the week, brunch on the weekends and dinner daily.
The Corner Bar is a great option the Boulderado has for lunch, happy hour or a relaxed dinner. In the summer and spring, they open up a nice patio so you can enjoy fresh air while you eat or drink.
License No. 1 was the first spot to be awarded a liquor license after prohibition ended in 1967. The little bar has pool, a photo booth and skee ball as well as high-class cocktails.
Being in the heart of one of the most environmentally conscious cities, the Boulderado does it’s best to go green. They use LED lights whenever they can, they donate banquet food not consumed to the Boulder Community Food Share Program and more.
Boulder is one of my favorite cities. With the flatiron mountains and the friendly vibe, it’s a place worth visiting at least once. The Boulderado has everything you need to make it a great trip.
